Babylon 5 is a science fiction TV series which, here in the UK, is currently
between its fourth and fifth season. Unlike most series, which are
open-ended, Joe Straczynski conceived this epic story as a five
year arc with a beginning and a middle and an end. The main
difference between this story and other US SF series is that
things do change. Actions have consequences which last
beyond the closing credits. For the best site with loads of information
about the series, try
The Lurker's Guide.
There's also the
official fan club site.

As well as discussing Babylon 5 on the Internet, fans also get
together at
social gatherings,
though living so far from London, I haven't managed to get to one myself yet.

And finally there's my old friend Darroll Pardoe's
Pigs Can Fly which is a personal fanzine (now also in electronic form) with
vaguely SFnal connections.
